Harry Higgins Adams.

Born in Richmond , North Yorkshire in 1889.
Served as a regular soldier in the Royal Garrison Artillery.
In 1911 was with the 168 Siege Battery in the Near East, probably Egypt.
Killed in France on 10th Nov. 1918 . Held rank of Sergeant
Service number 29836.
Buried at Vadencourt British Cemetery in Belgium. Grave Ref. I. C.19

Son of John A and Julia (juliet) E. Adams the family came to the Keighley area from Richmond in 1891 and john was a groom.
Both died in the 1890s and are buried in Oakworth Weslyan Cemetery.

When Harry died his NOK was brother William, a railway porter at Gargrave Station.
Harry is probably on the Oxenhope Memorial because his eldest sister Elizabeth married Alfred Rushton in 1899 ant the couple lived at Bank, Oxenhope for many years.

His brother James Edward, born Oakworth in 1891 served as a regular in the same Regiment.
