Victoria Park Wesleyan Methodist Chapel Great War memorial board

This WW1 memorial is made from Oak with Gold lettering. It has a simple trefoil top and three wall brackets which have white emulsion paint on them. It is in the care of Cliffe Castle Museum. The men named on the board are detailed at the bottom of this page.

Herbert Denison - Sunny Bank, Area - Riddlesden.
Jack Coles - Robert John. Son of William and Elizabeth Coles, Station Master at Keighley Railway Station and by 1911 at Skipton.Born in 1891 at Bootle Lancs. On CWGC probably Service number 236065 Corporal WY Reg. ( POW) 9th Bn.
Willie Coles - William, born 1889 Bootle . Brother of Jack.
